Angelique du Toit is an illustrator and designer from Pretoria, Irene. She completed her degree in 2021 at The Open Window Institute where she double-majored illustration and graphic design and completed her Honours degree in 2023 with a specialisation in Illustration. 

This year she entered the work industry where she is a graphic design intern for the marketing team at Open Window Institute and a junior graphic designer and illustrator at a creative studio. She is also open to commissions and freelances in her spare time. Inspired by her love for mythology, storytelling and fantasy, Angelique weaves make-believe worlds into her illustrations and designs. 

You’ll often find them riddled with playful characters, symbols and intricate stories that aim to be a fun and temporary escape for viewers.
